20.00

Sean Scully - San Cristóbal presents the artist’s work at Cuadra San Cristóbal  - the modernist masterpiece designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Luis Barragán. The first exhibition at San Cristóbal and the first time Scully’s sculptures have been shown in Latin America, the exhibition includes the monumental fifty foot long sculpture Boxes of Air alongside sculptures in both Cor-Ten and painted steel, with a series of paintings which are oil on aluminium or copper.

Published on the occasion of the exhibition, this catalogue includes full colour plates of the works, alongside views of Cuadra San Cristóbal and texts by cultural historian Kelly Grovier, the Artistic Director of Zona Maco Daniel Garza-Usabiage and Oscar Humphries, the exhibition’s curator.
